Estonia reclaimed its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991 and has since become one of the most economically successful countries of the European Union. Today, although geographically small, Estonia is considered one of the most innovative countries in the world. From digital IDs, to blockchain and e-governance, Estonia has been winning the digital race for nearly three decades. Estonia also has a unique expertise in cybersecurity which the country developed as a result of its experience as a victim of hacking. At the same time, Estonian authorities are persistently lobbying for an effective digital single market at EU level and people often say that digitalization is in the DNA of Estonia. How can it become part of Europe's too?  How can Estonia’s experience be a source of inspiration for other EU countries?

YPFP and the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU gladly invite you to join us for a discussion to discover Estonia’s recipe for digital success with guest speaker, HE Ambassador Kaja Tael.
