YPFP New York is delighted to host the March Book Club and Author Series with Aatish Taseer on his book, The Twice-Born: Life and Death on the Ganges. Aatish Taseer is a contributing writer for the New York Times’s T magazine. We will be discussing his recent book and digging deeper into India’s current political and social climate. Bring your thoughtful questions and stay for what is sure to be a revirgating discussion.


Author Bio:

Aatish Taseer was born in 1980. He is the author of the memoir Stranger to History: A Son’s Journey Through Islamic Lands and the acclaimed novels: The Way Things Were, a finalist for the 2016 Jan Michalski Prize; The Temple-Goers, which was short-listed for the Costa First Novel Award; and Noon. His work has been translated into more than a dozen languages.

He is a contributing writer for the New York Times’s T magazine and lives in New York. His most recent book is The Twice-Born: Life and Death on the Ganges. His documentary In Search of India’s Soul was released in 2020. Connect with him on Twitter @AatishTaseer.
