Join us for an interactive, members only roundtable discussion with Ambassador Julianne Smith, U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO. The discussion will be held under Chatham House Rules.

Agenda

1. Future of NATO and Amplifying Youth Voices: Explore the role of young professionals in shaping the future of NATO. Discuss how their perspectives and innovative ideas can contribute to the alliance's continued relevance and effectiveness in the face of evolving global challenges.
2. NATO Summit Expectations and Road Ahead: Gain insights into the upcoming NATO Summit, expectations, and the trajectory of the alliance. Delve into discussions about the current state of affairs, future plans, and the collective aspirations of NATO member nations.
3. Communicating NATO to Younger Audiences: Unpack strategies for effectively communicating NATO's mission and values to younger audiences. Discuss why it matters and explore key issues that resonate with the youth, fostering a better understanding of the alliance's importance in the modern world.

The event will be held on Tuesday, January 30th, from 12pm-1pm ET. 

Doors open at 11.30am and entry closes at 11.50am.

Venue will be announced to registered attendees before the event. Please note, participants will have to go through security/medal detector screening.  Everyone must present a valid photo ID to enter. You will need a valid I.D. upon entrance.
