2025 Y7 Summit - Registration

YPFP is pleased to announce the call for the U.S. delegates to the 2025 Y7 Youth Summit in Ottawa, Canada. Four (4) American delegates will be selected to represent American youth voices and engage in critical dialogue around pressing global challenges. The summit will take place in May 2025. It will be hosted by YDC Canada.

The four (4) key areas where one (1) delegate each will be representing American Youth are:

1. Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology
   1. Sub-Topics: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Transformation, Global Regulation, Cybersecurity, Online Harm, Disinformation
2. Economy and Supply Chain Resilience
   1. Sub-Topics: International Trade, Supply Chains, Economic Opportunity, Development Finance and International Financial Institutions (IFI) Reform, Women’s Economic Empowerment
3. Energy and Environment
   1. Sub-Topics: Energy security, industrial decarbonization, energy efficiency, critical minerals, energy storage, clean fuels, renewables and forest management 
4. Peace and Security
   1. Sub-Topics: Youth, Peace and Security (YPS), Human Rights, Gender Impacts, Global Conflicts, International Governance/Institutions, Rules- Based International Order (RBIO)

It is STRONGLY encouraged that you review the Y7 web page for requirements and FAQs before applying. 

To be considered, you must be a YPFP member, be an American citizen and aged 22-30 at the time of the summit. Delegates must cover the cost of airfare (if in person) to Ottawa, Canada and incidental personal costs (snacks, etc.) incurred during the trip. Lodging, meals, and transportation (if in person) will be organized by the host.

Applicants must submit all forms and documents by the deadline of 11:59 PM EST, January 19th, 2025.
