The 2026 ICHR is co-organized by Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) Tokyo, East Asia Young Scholars Association (EAYSA), and the Graduate Program on Human Security (HSP) and Research Center for Sustainable Peace (RCSP), the University of Tokyo. The 2026 ICHR will be held in a hybrid format in Tokyo (Japan), 18-20 March , 2026.
The 2026 ICHR seeks to offer an international, intergeneration, and inclusive opportunity for young scholars to engage with human rights issues in the contemporary world. Acknowledging that current viewpoints on human rights are too often crowded out in discussions taking place in Western fora and conditioned to favor Western perspectives, we also seek to provide a forum that gives primacy to Japanese and Asian perspectives on global issues. We encourage submissions from scholars the world over, and are equally excited to welcome seasoned and new academics to discuss the most pressing human rights issues of our time.

2026年国際人権会議:アジアの若者たち（2026 ICHR）は、東アジア若手学術協会（EAYSA）、外交政策の若手プロフェッショナル東京支部（YPFP Tokyo）、東京大学大学院総合文化研究科人間の安全保障プログラム（HSP）および持続的平和研究センター（RCSP）が共同で主催します（以下、「主催者」とします）。
本会議は、若い学生や研究者が今の世界における人権問題に取り組むための国際的、世代間的、包括的な機会を提供することを目的としています。投稿の機会や学術的な資質の育成以外にも、若い人々が人権問題を主張し、他者と議論すること、ひいては人権発展の集団的プロセスに関与する感覚を養うことも同様に重視し、期待しています。さらに、東京を開催地とすることで、アジアにいる、もしくはアジアの人権問題に関心を持つ若い学生や研究者が、身近な場所で意見を交わすことができるようになります。特にアジアの文脈の中で、自分たちを取り巻く人権問題について議論することが、これまで以上に若者の参加を促進しています。
