Our partners at Future Leaders Network who are in charge of the UK’s delegations to the Y20 and Y7 summits this year have kindly offered us ten places at their workshop on the future of work to help shape the UK Y20 and Y7 positions respectively.

Youth unemployment is a key concern for young people, their families, politicians and businesses. Additionally, Brexit, the shift toward a ‘gig’ economy, climate change and emerging technology are all powerful forces changing the landscape of work for young people. What would be the one thing you would ask world leaders to do to improve the prospects of young people in this new world of work? This is your chance to come together and propose an answer.

The event will consist of networking drinks, followed by table discussions with other young leaders on an aspect of ‘The Future Of Work’ that interests you. You’ll be asked to identify one major challenge you’d like to see world leaders solve – and propose suggestions for how they might do that.

Why come?

·        You’ll get the chance to meet a huge range of diverse, talented and ambitious young people, to discuss one of the most important topics facing our generation.

·        The Future of Work is a key policy area for this year’s upcoming Youth Summits, and this roundtable will also serve to inform this year’s delegations policy position papers. This will be an opportunity to meet this year’s Y20 and Y7 UK delegates and play a role in informing the UK policy positions.
