European Defence Agency: Fostering Defence Cooperation

YPFP is proud to present an exclusive event on European Defence Cooperation, presented by Chief Executive of the European Defence Agency (EDA), Jorge Domecq, and senior staff. They’ll be talking you through the EDA’s relationship with the European Commission and NATO, as well as giving three exciting in-depth briefings: Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO), Cyber Defence, and unmanned vehicle deployment in Europe. By the end of this event, you’ll have a comprehensive overview of the work of the European Defence Agency, the body established in 2004 to improve the EU’s defence capabilities. Its specific remits cover crisis management, armament cooperation, strengthening the industrial and technological base for EU defence, and creating a competitive defence equipment market. The EDA is also tasked with assisting in the development and overall restructuring of the European defence industry.
