We would like to invite you to our next instalment of the YPFP Ambassador Series: The Croatian Council Presidency - Working Breakfast. In the first half of 2020 we are embarking on the Croatian Council Presidency. By attending the Working Breakfast you will have a chance to gain insights from H.E. Irena Andrassy, Permanent Representative of Croatia to the European Union,  on Croatia’s role in shaping the European Union by taking up its Presidency. Attendants can elaborate further with our hosts on Croatia’s priorities in its current Presidency. If you know very little about the Council’s current Presidency, here is a summary of the four priorities that it is working accomplishing before Croatia ceases its Presidency on 30 June 2020:

A Europe that Develops - by ensuring better conditions and prospects for all European citizens through balanced and sustainable growth.

A Europe that Connects - by making a Europe that has a connected economy that serves its full potential.

A Europe that protects - by making it paramount to protect the EU’s citizens. A safer Europe guarantees the freedom of every citizen as a pillar of democratic society and internal security.

An Influential Europe - standing for the EU by taking a leading role on the international stage; shaping global order, eradicating poverty and stimulating global development.

The Croatian Council Presidency - Working Breakfast will be moderated under the Chatham House Rule. Due to recent global developments regarding the viral infection CONVID-19, the event will be limited to a maximum capacity of 20 registrants.
