Working remotely during the coronavirus pandemic? Shifting from in-person to online classes? Struggling with social distancing?

Join us for a virtual discussion with our very own Jay Heisler on working and studying remotely. Jay Heisler is a counterterrorism analyst published with a defense contractor and a freelance journalist published with CNBC. He has spent the last six years between Canada and Washington DC. He is a longtime staffer with Young Professionals in Foreign Policy and currently works for Dalhousie University. He has previously worked in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Jay will be discussing his experiences working remotely in foreign policy and related fields and teaching online courses, as well as the challenges involved. The event will feature an open discussion about remote work, mindfulness, and digital networking.
