You are invited to our Book Club to discuss one of the evergreen of geopolitics in the last decades: Vladimir Putin and his Russia.
After the latest geopolitical development which put Russia at the center of the EU debate once again, Mark Galeotti's book 'We need to talk about Putin' offers a new angle to Russia political moves by addressing key misperceptions of its leader, Vladimir Putin, and explaining how we can decipher his motivations and what to expect from his vision of the future Russia.
Joining this book club, you will be able to "Talk about Putin" with Mark Galeotti, who specialises in Russian security and political affairs, as well as the murky subjects of modern warfare, intelligence, and transnational and organised crime. Galeotti is the principal director of the consultancy Mayak Intelligence, Honorary Professor at University College London, Senior Associate Fellow of RUSI and a Senior Nonresident Fellow at the Institute of International Relations Prague. He has published widely and his latest book is A Short History of Russia (Harlequin 2020/Ebury 2021).
