Speaker Bio

Hillary Bakrie serves as an Associate Programme Officer at the United Nations Officeof The Secretary General's Envoy on Youth, New York. She leads the youth and technology portfolio that serves as a cross-cutting portfolio to support all work on meaningful youth engagement across the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Hillary holds a Master in Global Affairs from New York University, specializing in International Development & Humanitarian Affairs and peacebuilding. Having a background in the business and digital startup in South East Asia, Hillary combines her private sector background with development study by researching the use of technology for development. She graduated with a graduate thesis titled “Blockchain for Sustainable Development Goals”.
