YPFP Brussels would like to invite you to our next event on humanitarian aid in times of crisis on Wednesday 1 June at 18:00 CEST.

You will have the chance to learn more about current humanitarian aid challenges, including the food crisis following the war in Ukraine, with our speaker, Frederik Schutyser. With extensive experience in academia, NGOs, and intergovernmental organizations, Mr. Schutyser will share exclusive insights regarding humanitarian aid, migration, and natural resources.

Frederik Schutyser currently works as the Deputy Head of Unit for humanitarian aid thematic policies at the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO) at the European Commission. Prior, he worked on migration in the Commission’s Secretariat-General and as a Policy Officer at the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE). Mr. Schutyser holds a Master's degree in Law, as well as a Master's degree in Ecosystems Analysis, Management, and Governance.
