As a start to the new year, join us for a round table and discussion around the
United Nations Climate Change Conference with Rishika Daryanani, UN
Strategy Consultant on Climate Change.
As climate impacts are widespread, rapid, and intensifying, 2023 marks the
world’s critical need to meet the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5
degrees above pre-industrial levels, as committed to in the Paris Agreement.
The UN through the COP27 is trying to focus on three areas:
- Climate adaptation
- Climate finance
- A transition considering the development needs of countries most
affected by the current climate crisis.
This event aims to share the experience of Rishika as she provided extensive
process analysis for the international carbon market decision from COP26
and negotiation strategy advisory and procedural support at COP27 in Egypt.
