Join us for a forward-looking discussion on the future of Euro-Atlantic security cooperation at a pivotal time for global stability.

As the United States shifts its foreign policy priorities, particularly in light of the ongoing war in Ukraine, the European Union and NATO find themselves navigating an increasingly complex geopolitical environment. In this high-level panel discussion, we will explore how both institutions can adapt and move forward together in the coming years.

With the NATO Summit in June 2025 approaching, our panelists will reflect on the main topics expected to dominate the agenda, including strategies to reinforce the transatlantic alliance, Europe’s path toward greater defence self-reliance, and the evolving relationship between the EU and NATO.

Speakers:

  • Colonel Martin Krüger: Deputy Head of Unit – Defence Policy and Planning, German Delegation to NATO
  • Ms. Anna Vassileva: Deputy Head of Unit – Coordination of Foreign, Security and Defence Policy Implementation, DG DEFIS
  • Mr. Carl-Johan Lind: Policy Officer – Industry Engagement and EU Policy, European Defence Agency
