2026 Y7 Summit - Registration

YPFP is pleased to announce the call for the U.S. delegates to the 2026 Y7 Youth Summit in Paris, France. Four (4) American delegates will be selected to represent American youth voices and engage in critical dialogue around pressing global challenges. The summit will take place in May 17-20, 2026. It will be hosted by the Open Diplomacy Institute.

The four (4) key areas where one (1) delegate each will be representing American Youth are:

• Geopolitical Upheavals
  1. Studying the fragmentation of the multilateral system and the multiplication of international conflicts
  2. Protecting the full respect of international law and human rights
  3. Stimulating international organizations aiming at global cooperation
  4. Guaranteeing global security and an era of new emerging threats
• Technological Disruptions
  1. Anticipating the economic and social risks and opportunities created by the fast-moving AI revolution
  2. Securing digital infrastructures and physical flows
  3. Building a fair and sustainable global governance of AI
  4. Fighting cognitive collapse and the capture of the digital economy
• Economic and Demographic Imbalances
  1. Addressing economic challenges brought by an aging population
  2. Reforming social systems in response to demographic trends
  3. Addressing structural inequities and inequalities between generations
  4. Redesigning work and employment systems
• Ecological Crises
  1. Addressing challenges of climate change, biodiversity, energy, environment-health Nexus, and food systems
  2. Protecting fundamental supply and value chains
  3. Redefining social cohesion amidst the breaching of planetary boundaries
  4. Scaling up transition by massively steering private investment

To be considered, you must be a YPFP member, be an American citizen and aged 22-30 at the time of the summit. Delegates must cover the cost of airfare (if in person) to Paris, France and incidental personal costs (snacks, etc.) incurred during the trip. Lodging, meals, and transportation (if in person) will be organized by the host.

Applicants must submit all forms and documents by the deadline of 11:59 PM EST, January 18th, 2026.
