The 2024 International Conference on Human Rights: Youth in Asia (ICHR) is co-convened by Young Professionals in Foreign Policy Tokyo (YPFP 外交政策の若手プロフェッショナル東京支部), the Research Centre for Sustainable Peace (RCSP 持続的平和研究センター), and the Graduate Program on Human Security (HSP 東京大学人間の安全保障プログラム), The University of Tokyo and will be convened in hybrid format in Tokyo, Japan, from 25-26 March 2024.
The 2024 ICHR aims to offer an international, intergenerational, and inclusive opportunity for students and young scholars to engage with contemporary human rights topics and cultivate youth involvement in the collective advancement of human rights. This conference further aims to present a space that places Asian human rights topics at the centre of discussion with the ultimate goal of encouraging young people to join discussions of human rights issues closer to the Asian public.
